EQUITABLE EDUCATION FUND

This campaign begins with a letter. A 10 year old student, writes a letter to his teacher asking for one year leave because he has to help his grandmother taking care of his brother and sisters, he need to work by collecting and selling garbage and earn some money for his family. This boy lives with his grandmother and 3 other siblings. His parents has left them. From this letter, we discovered that over 2 millions Thai children are not included into the education system. The only reason is poverty. If they go to school, they will have less household income,  so they choose to work rather than going to school. Some kids work in a farm, labouring, or boxing to earn money, some girls are working in Karaoke bar. The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness of this problem  and teachers are willing to help and search for the missing students to find out what they are doing and how they could be helped. We want to tell this story through the children’s letter. And invite graffiti artists to turn these letters into arts around different locations in Thailand.
Hoping for someone to see and help them.
